  • What is the turn around time for replacement quotes?

    We will have our replacement quote uploaded for the insurance company’s approval within 48 hours of meeting with the client. If a replacement quote is required immediately, we also offer an Express Quote service, which ensures that a quote is completed within 12 hours of meeting with the client.

  • How can JIC offer consistent savings on jewellery replacement?

    JIC uses a cost-plus pricing system instead of a typical retail-minus system used by traditional jewellers. The profit margins for jewellery can range anywhere from 50% to 2000% depending on the piece. Instead of offering a discount on retail price, we regulate our profit margins and apply them to our costs, which means big savings on many pieces for insurance companies and their clients.

  • Do I have to pay JIC and wait for reimbursement from my insurance company?

    No, JIC can bill directly to your insurance company. We may collect a deductible on behalf of your insurance company, and additional charges could apply if a client chooses to upgrade a particular piece not covered through insurance.

  • What if I have my own jeweller and don’t want to replace with JIC?

    You have every right to choose who you replace with. We offer replacement quotes for insurance companies which clients can take anywhere they like. Just keep in mind that some jeweller’s retail price models will not accommodate for the savings that we can offer!
